However, the current students’ population is less than 30 students which dropped from 150 students and has continuously dropped due the effect of COVID-19 Pandemic.  Since the enrolment is very low due to the fact that students cannot afford pay school fees of 100,000/= (one hundred thousand shillings) for day students and 350,000/= (three hundred thousand shillings) for boarding students due to prevailing poverty in the area.

STAFF

The school has a total of 9 teachers covering all classes from S.1 to S.3 and a non teaching staff of 4 members

History of the school

Namungalwe parents’ secondary school was established in 1999 by Clovis Musana as Director of the school under sole proprietorship and by the year 2003, the school was licensed by the ministry of Education and Sports following the inspection reports made by Mr.Okiror Robert who was the District Inspector of schools and its license number is ME/22/3614.

Having met the required conditions in 2003, the school was registered by the Ministry of Education and Sports under the number PSS/N/146 and Uganda National Examination Board granted it a UNEB Centre NO. U1531 with a sitting capacity of 90 students.

In January 2010, the school changed ownership from the hands of Musana Clovis to a new management led by Lubogo Timothy Waigolo as a new director of the school

The reason for the selling of the school was due to the deteriorating number of students who could not pay fees of Shs 40,000/= (forty thousand shillings) given the prevailing poverty in the area.
